I was commissioned by Beta to create the artwork for an article based on the topic of migraines. Now migraines is a subject I know very well as I’m a chronic sufferer myself so I felt like I could really create something fun for this.
I wanted to illustrate each element of a migraine pain, visual disturbance, medication, sickness and the sensory overload that comes with an attack. The one element which I personally love is the Sun glasses with the word fuck, this I think represents the aura/visual disturbance that comes with migraines.
