This was my first project for Beta Magazine. I was asked to create illustrations for an article on juggling periods and climbing and how to cope.
I knew from the off I wanted to relate period products to climbing equipment and take
a lighter more funny side to the artwork. I deliberately made it a pink colour pallet as for some reason in the climbing community pink is a frowned upon colour for some reason and as it was relating to periods I thought it was quite fitting.
The article and artwork were a huge success for Beta and they then asked me to create
a limited edition sticker pack to help promote the brand, these are sold from the Beta website and proved very popular.
